As you may have heard, Superintendent Jack D. Dale has proposed a $2.3 billion budget that would increase class sizes, gut summer school, and eliminate freshman sports and foreign language instruction for elementary students. What can we do?

1. Petition to save Fairfax County school programs:
• Freshman Sports
• Strings & Bands
• Full Day Kindergarten
2. Write your School Board Representative
3. Attend the Public Hearings on the Budget Jan. 25th 6–11pm and the 26th 6–10pm @ Jackson MS
